Just in case you’re planning on coming to the Pentecost Sunday service in Nuolen we thought you might like to know that you can still have a bit of a lie in. The service starts at 11AM. With Thomas Schuler on piano and Mario Kühne directing, it may be worth it to cut your brunch a little short!
If you missed Hedreich singing for the Bishop with her choir in early May, catch her this Sunday singing with the Nuolen Church Choir at 9.30. The Pentecost will be truly celebrated as she sings selections from The Preacher’s Wife as well as an old Carol Antrom favorite–“Singing of Jesus”.
What do you get when a Swiss drummer meets an Italian bassist on the beach in Rio? You get a great gig at one of the finest clubs in Jesolo. Ivan Zucherato (Keys) Pius Baschnagel (Drums) and Paolo Andriolo (Bass) put down the perfect sound for Hedreich to get and keep the audience. The chic crowd clapped, snapped and sang along to the entertaining mix of originals, old school soul and top tens. When the last note had been sung one thing was for sure–this first will definitely have an encore–or two!
If you missed Night of the Guitars 2009 mit Slädu and the Swiss rock scene’s best of the best, you had the chance to see it on TV on the weekend. If you still missed it, set your TV to come on at 4.45. On SF2 you can get rock and roll with the best of the early birds! Hedreich got to see her old buddies Bligg and Gölä and make some new friends. If Shezoo and Fiction Friction are still unknown to you, check them out!!
